Teamgee Electric Skateboard Review:

Design

Teamgee H20 has a sleek design with a 15 mm thin deck and 21 lbs weight. The combination of ultra-thin deck and low weight has made it one of the best affordable electric skateboards. It comes with a drop-through deck, which is 15-20 mm above the ground that ensures stability.

The concave deck allows you to turn comfortably with less effort ensuring smoother rides. Soft bushing in the wheels allows you to take those sharp turns with style.

Remote

Its features a seahorse controller. This is one of the most ergonomic designs that you will find in the market. Furthermore, it has a roller type throttle, unlike cliché joysticks on other boards. These features help you to have more control and grip on your board.

The LCD display and LED flashlight are some other highlights of the control panel. The display shows current speed, battery, and direction while the flashlight helps you ride in low visibility.

Motor

Motor is the first thing that comes to our mind when we think about mileage. You will find two high-speed brushless motors used in the back wheels. Each motor is replaceable and consumes 540 watts each totaling to 1080 watts.

With two hub motors, this board can go at a rate of 26 mph or 42 km/h. It offers you a power efficiency level of 90% with a maximum torque of 8N-M.

Battery

This awesome skateboard contains built-in lithium batteries that can store enough power to skate up to standard version: 30 kilometers battery range, enhanced version:40 kilometers battery range. Though it feels and looks like a regular skateboard, the batteries are placed inside the structure. Most manufacturers struggle to maintain this design.

The battery is made of lithium pouch cells that can generate 7.5Ah/270Wh to run this longboard. It takes around 4 hours to charge the battery to maximum power. You will be able to ride two to three hours with it.

A special feature of this ride is its regenerative braking, which helps you ride those extra mileages by turning the motors into dynamos when you push the breaks.

Wheels

The skateboard offers firm grip PU (Polyurethane) wheels that provide more stability and maneuverability while performing stunts. These wheels are 90mm*54mm in diameter that evenly distributes the weight. That further improves the stability of the rider.

Materials

When doing the Teamgee electric skateboard h20 review we were looking for improved wood layers. Teamgee offers you eight layers of high-quality Canadian Maple wood with a single ply of fiberglass. As we mentioned before, these layers only total to 0.6 inches.

And, who am I kidding? This has the UI certification E503354 for being thinnest E-skateboard.

Max speed

Although the manufacturers claim its top speed is 22 mph, it depends on different factors like weight, rider skill, incline, decline, terrain surface, and some other aspects. The board is capable of carrying 220lbs (100kg) load at its max speed, but anything more than that will affect the speed as well as the battery life.

FAQs

Here are some common questions that e-board fans often have in their queries. We had to address them in this Teamgee review.

Motor breaks gently slow the board when you want to stop. The breaks work smoothly with a 220lbs (100kg). You will not face any difficulty while going down an abrupt hill or vertical space.

4 different brake mode pull down to the end of the throttle, at the meantime, press the speed button to switch brake mode(B1, B2, B3, B4) Can adapt to the needs of different levels of rider no matter you are a novice or a professional rider, you can have fun.

4 different speed mode  different speed mode (L/M/H/H+).  H+ mode only differs from H mode on a higher accelerate speed at start.

The wheels are super smooth. You will have no problem disconnecting the motor when it is out of charge.

Battery life   standard version:  30 kilometers battery range,

enhanced version:40  kilometers battery range

The board has a 3500mah Lithium battery that provides enough power to cover a longer distance in uphill terrains. If you can paddle in the uphill terrain, then the motor will also be able to ride on that path. That, of course, infers that you will not be able to ride it on steep hills.

You can unplug the charger when the green light pops up and stays on

The board offers IP54 waterproofing, which means the board can handle water splashing from different angles. But, you should not pour water on the board or keep it under the water as it is not watertight. Moreover, you should keep it out of rain for a longer useful life.

Yes, the remote can change the direction but only frontward and backward.
